November 24, 2019 Dear Parents/Guardians, Staff, and Students, I hope you are enjoying the weekend as we prepare for the holiday season. It’s a rainy Sunday again, a great day to watch football and get ready for Thanksgiving. We only have  2½ DAYS OF LEARNING  this week, but we will make the most of them. As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, I would like to wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season ahead. I am thankful for the support you have given to me and our staff this year and I know in the weeks ahead we will continue to work hard to provide tremendous learning opportunities for our students. During this busy time, I hope we all can get a chance to pause and reflect on the positive moments of the past year and look forward to the coming months with renewed purpose. Happy Thanksgiving! FOLLOW US ON TWITTER @LockeMiddle and Instagram: locke_middle_school QUOTE OF THE WEEK “Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.” --  Zig Ziglar TURKEY TOSS FUNDRAISER The half day before Thanksgiving Student Council is going to hold the annual Turkey Toss in the gym to raise money and food for local families in need for the holidays. The Turkey Toss will be an assembly (one for each grade) the half day before Thanksgiving (Wednesday, Nov 27 th ).  A few representatives from each eligible homeroom will be chosen at random at the assembly to participate in the turkey toss.  They will be slinging rubber turkeys attempting to hit targets to earn poin
