CHROMEBOOKS

Students are required to bring their school-issued Chromebooks to school every day. It is important that students remember to bring their Chromebooks every day. We have only a few in the office to let students borrow. Students should charge their Chromebooks overnight. All teachers will be setting up a google classroom for their students where assignments will be posted and where assignments can be turned in electronically. If your child does not have a Chromebook, please contact the main office at 978-528-8650. We also highly recommend purchasing a protective case for the Chromebook.

MATH PROBLEM OF THE WEEK #4

Halloween Candy!

It was Halloween night when five goblins came to my door. I had a bag of 100 Starbursts to distribute to the five children. I started to distribute them, one at a time, from left to right, into each of the children's candy bags. Suddenly the phone rang, and I had to interrupt what I was doing to answer it. When I returned, I had forgotten with whom I had left off giving out the Starbursts.

How did I continue, without counting the Starbursts in each bag and without starting over, to give each goblin an equal number of kisses?

Last week’s answers: -- 1. 945 2. 5248 Congrats to Caroline Gorski and Ishaan Rana!

Send your answers to Mr. Garas – tgaras@billericak12.com – Show your work! You can win a Dunkins gift card and the highly coveted math certificate!!

RIDDLE OF THE WEEK

Last week’s answer: How do you fix a cracked pumpkin? With a pumpkin patch!

This week: How do you spell “Candy” in two letters?
