There is no school on Tuesday, November 5th.
Wednesday, November 6th is an A Day.
Thursday, November 7th is the 1st day of quarter 2 and students begin their new unified arts class. Please check your schedules and plan accordingly for the week.

They will report to the library immediately after school. Students can attend as many days as the parent/student believes are necessary. Students are expected to stay for the full hour.
LATE BUSES
Late buses continue this week and will run on every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The buses usually arrive at the Locke at 3:10 PM. Please see the attached late bus stops. One of our buses does drop off at the Boys’ and Girls’ Club.
MATH PROBLEM OF THE WEEK
Last week’s answer:  O is the 500th letter in the pattern
ONE MORE HALLOWEEN PROBLEM
Zoe, Andrew, and Sophia were going trick-or-treating together down a long road with houses only on the right side of the street.  The addresses of the first three houses were 296 Boo Blvd, 300 Boo Blvd, and 304 Boo Blvd, and the house numbers continued to increase by 4 down the entire road.  The kids decided to take turns knocking on the doors of the houses so that Zoe knocked at house 296, Andrew knocked at house 300, Sophia knocked at house 304, and then Zoe started the sequence over at house 308.  Zoe will knock on the doors of a lot of houses.  When Zoe gets to the first house with a units digit of 2 and it is her turn to knock, what is the number of the house?
Turn your answers in to the office by Friday. The correct answers will be put in a drawing for huge, tremendous prizes!
