Dear Parents/Guardians, Staff, and Students,
It is the last day of summer and I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend. We have another busy week ahead with a full 5 DAYS OF LEARNING! Let’s see what’s happening …

HOMEWORK CLUB
HW club will start on Monday, September 23rd. It will be in the library every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Students do not need to sign up ahead of time for HW club. They will report to the library immediately after school. Students can attend as many days as the parent/student believes are necessary. Students are expected to stay for the full hour.
AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
The flyer for after school activities is attached. Activities start the week of September 30th.  
LATE BUSES
Late bus runs begin on Monday, September 23rd and will run on every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The buses usually arrive at the Locke at 3:10 PM. Please see the attached late bus stops. One of our buses does drop off at the Boys’ and Girls’ Club.
MATH PROBLEM OF THE WEEK (back by popular demand)
Last day of summer pool party
Twenty-seven households are invited to the party and the ratio of 5-person households to 4‑person households to 3-person households to 2-person households invited is 1:4:3:1, respectively. (The invite list did not include households of any other sizes.)  How many households with less than 4 people are invited to the party? Turn your answers in to the office by Friday. The correct answers will be put in a drawing for huge, tremendous prizes!

If your child is going to be absent, please call 978-528-8650 to report the absence. You can leave a voicemail at this number which goes directly to our secretary. You may also email our secretary, Ms. Brewster at nbrewster@billericak12.com

Our Yankee Candle fundraiser is off and running! Orders due by September 27th. 
We have two open spots on the PTO: Secretary & Treasurer

Our next PTO meeting will be held on October 2 at 7:00 pm in the library.  Hope to see you there.

It was another unique year that presented many challenges to learning as we tried to return to a sense of normalcy.
