EARLY RELEASE – Tuesday, May 21th

On Tuesday, May 21^st, students will be dismissed at 11:40.

WALK-A-THON

This year's walk-a-thon will be held on Thursday, May 23^rd. Walk-a-thon forms were sent home last week. It is also attached for your convenience. Please return completed forms by Wednesday, May 22^nd. All donations go to the Locke PTO.

AFTER SCHOOL THIS WEEK

HW Club and late buses will continue on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. The last day for HW club and late buses will be this Thursday, May 23^rd.

PROGRESS REPORTS

Trimester 3 Progress reports were published on May 9^th. Please return the envelope signed indicating that you have seen the report. There were some glitches with Aspen. If you have any trouble seeing the report, please let us know.

BOOK FAIR THIS WEEK

Come to the fair and pick up your summer reading titles. The book fair will be held on May 21-23. The PTO is looking for volunteers to help out on Tuesday and Wednesday.

YEARBOOK SALES

Please see the attached order form for the 7^th/8^th grade yearbook. Yearbooks can be ordered from May 6^th through June 3^rd  for $20 cash or checks made out to the Locke Middle School.

KNOWLEDGE BOWL

Good luck to our Knowledge Bowl team in their competition Monday night. Go Locke!

8^th GRADE GRAD DANCE

The 8^th grade grad dance will be held on Friday, June 7^th from 6:00 – 9:00. Please see the attached for more information.

PTO CORNER

Our final PTO meeting of the 2018 - 2019 school year will be June 3rd at 6:30 pm in the Library. We will vote on next year’s Board members. Please stop by and support them.

Field Day is almost here and is scheduled for June 14. Please see the attached flyer for the cost and t-shirt information. Remember, not only is this the 8th graders final Field Day, but it’s the 7th graders final Field Day, as well. We have some great events lined up so please help us to make this year’s Field Day the best for your child! We are in need of volunteers to help make this event a great time for your kids.
