LIFE AT THE LOCKE … Issue #33 2018-2019

May 5, 2019
Dear Parents/Guardians, Staff, and Students,
I hope you are enjoying your weekend during this very busy time of year and I think we might actually see the sun soon. This week is staff appreciation at the Locke. Please thank our teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, cafeteria workers, secretaries, and bus drivers for all that they do on a daily basis. Working together, they create the best learning environment for our students. We are back this week for another 5 DAYS OF LEARNING!! Let’s see what’s happening …
Monday, May 6th is a “C” Day. Please plan accordingly for the week.

PTO CORNER
Our final PTO meeting of the 2018 - 2019 school year will be June 3rd at 6:30 pm in the Library. We will vote on next year’s Board members. Please stop by and support them.

Our last restaurant night will be at Fuddruckers in Reading (at Jordan’s Furniture) on May 14th  from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The attached flyer must be presented to the cashier for credit. We also sent fliers home. The restaurant is offering 20% of the total meal price, so let’s all have a burger for the kids!

Mother’s Day trinket gifts will be available during lunch May 6th through May 10th.

Field Day is almost here and is scheduled for June 14. Remember, not only is this the 8th graders final Field Day, but it’s the 7th graders final Field Day, as well. We have some great events lined up so please help us to make this year’s Field Day the best for your child! We are in need of volunteers to help make this event a great time for your kids. Please email billericalockepto@gmail.com or Facebook Message us if you are available.

If you need a gift card for a special occasion, we have a supply! Give a gift and support your school! If interested, email billericalockepto@gmail.com or Facebook Message us.

The PTO needs volunteers. If you would prefer not to participate in our fundraisers, but would still like to contribute, please see our Alternative Fundraiser form. "Like" the Locke PTO on Facebook for PTO, school, and district updates, email us at billericalockepto@gmail.com or call Faith Stevens at 978-314-3389 or 978-667-6676 with any questions.
